Andrew R. Willard
Andy Willard is Experiential Learning Coordinator in the Honors Program at the University of Iowa. He is affiliated with International Programs at the University and serves the Executive Board of the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights.
Prior to moving to Iowa, he had been Senior Research Scholar at Yale Law School, where he was a member of the research faculty since 1982. In addition to teaching in Yale Law School, he taught in the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and in Yale College. During the 2004-2005 academic year, he served as Guest Professor at Sarah Lawrence College. His research and teaching interests include international law, human rights, and conflict resolution; international development and environmental policy and management; and leadership and decision making.

He is the editor of New Haven Studies in International Law and World Public Order, and serves on the editorial board of Policy Sciences. He is President of the Policy Sciences Center and is founding President of the Society of Policy Scientists.
